EFQM Certified Model Foundation 2025

To become the next Business Transformation Leader (BTL), you need to complete the two EFQM Model core training expert levels - the Excellence Expert and the Performance Improvement Expert. This means successfully completing the 3 practitioner courses: Excellence Practitioner, Assessor Training and Performance Improvement Practitioner. And two of the Business Toolkit training tracks: Change, Sustain, Process or Benchmark.

To achieve the Excellence Expert certification, you need to successfully complete the EFQM Certified Model Foundation, the Excellence Practitioner and Assessor training courses. Once you have completed these 3 courses, you will automatically receive the Excellence Expert badge and certificate through the Credly platform.

To achieve the EFQM Certified Improvement Expert certification, you need to successfully complete the following training courses: EFQM Certified Model Foundation, Assessor Training and Performance Improvement Practitioner. Once you have completed these 3 courses, you will automatically receive your Improvement Expert badge through the Credly platform.

If your organisation is an EFQM Member (Diamond, Gold, Silver, Bronze or Academia), you have indeed access to 1 or more free training seats. In addition to these free training seats, your organisation is also entitled to a 25% discoung on all training registrations. Please contact your EFQM account manager to provide you with the corresponding promotion code that you will be able to redeem when registering to your selected training course. Once you register to a specific training course and classroom session, you will receive the confirmation email which will lead you to connect to the eAcademy, where all EFQM training courses are hosted. If you are new on the eAcademy, you will need to follow the instructions to finalise your user profile and setup your password. If you are a returning user to the platform, login using your usual credentials. You will find the access to the training course directly from the homepage.

Once you successfully pass the course exam, you automatically receive the corresponding certificate and digital badge. The course certificate is available on the eAcademy. You will find it on the homepage, directly under your name where you will see the badge icons. Click on it to open the certificate. You can then download it as PDF or PNG (image). The digital badges are hosted on the Credly platform. In parallel to receiving your training certificate, you will also receive an email from Credly to invite you to finalise your user profile if you are new to the platform, and to accept your badge. You can also share this badge on your social media, such as LinkedIn.
